The procedure is very simple. You apply tooth whitening gel to the teeth. A cold blue light is placed directly in front of your exposed teeth and runs for 15-20 minutes. Expect 1-3 treatments during the same session, and the more treatments you receive the better results you get.

A cosmetic whitening treatment will not make your teeth pearly white. It will make them whiter. How much whiter? That really depends on a number of factors, including how stained the teeth were before the whitening, what kind of staining agent cause most of the coloration, how well your teeth’s enamel reacts to peroxide and the number of treatments performed.
